Tax deductions are foreseen in specific cases.

Scholarships are offered by the University College for Sciences "Luciano Fonda" and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP).
1. University College for Sciences "Luciano Fonda"
It grants scholarships to the students who enroll in the first year of the Master's Degree Programme in Physics of the University of Trieste.
The number and the amount of the scholarships awarded each year may vary according to the financial availability of the College.
The call for applications is annually posted in July.

2. International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP)
ICTP supports students from developing countries who wish to enroll in the Joint Master's Degree in Physics.
ICTP offers a limited number of scholarships dedicated to young, qualified graduates from all countries that are members of the United Nations, UNESCO or IAEA, each consisting of monthly and travel grants, insurance and tuition fees.
The minimum qualification for these applicants is a degree equivalent to an M.Sc. (or an exceptionally good B.Sc.) in Physics.
The selection of candidates is based on their university records and academic recommendations.
Fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
