Are you coming to Italy in the framework of EU programme/project/Bilateral or multilater agreement that foresees the studies in Italy?

If so, holders of a study permit of stay must declare their presence by 8 days from the entry date to the local Poliche headquarter (Questura) without the need to apply for an entry visa nor for Italian residence permit of stay for study provided that the periodo of stay in Italy:

• is envisaged in the EU programme, Bilateral agreement, etc;
• the period of stay in Italy should not exceed 360 days;

Are you coming to Italy to carry out part of the studies out of EU programme/project/bilateral or multilater agreement that foresees the studies in Italy?

If so, you must submit the application for a permit of stay for study by 8 days from the entry date to the local Poliche headquarter (Questura).

• the permit of stay you have from the entry EU country
• the study program/project/etc.
