Area Science Park announces the annual edition of the Bernardo Nobile Award.

The 2025 Edition rewards degree or doctoral theses that:

• enhance the use of patent documentation and information, also through Artificial Intelligence (AI), of Intellectual Property (IP) data, information and processes;
• produce studies and/or scenario analyses and/or technological foresight dealing with “deep-tech” technologies, with particular reference to their impact and/or exploitation.

The award is a recognition of professionalism in the conduct of the activities of dr. Bernardo Nobile, creator and director of the PatLib Center of Area Science Park.

The award is dedicated to those who have obtained in Italy, not more than three years ago, a degree and PhD (laurea magistrale/specialistica or laurea vecchio ordinamento and dottorato). There are no restriction on age or nationality.

The award consists in six different prizes of €2.500 (gross) each.

Application must be sent using a personal PEC (certified electronic e-mail) by 11:59 pm (CET) of June 30, 2025
